Annie Adams Scrapbook The many friends of Guy Adams and wife will be pained to hear of the death of their little boy. He was a victim of membraneous croup and died Sunday. He was thirteen months old, and had gianed such a hold upon the affections of those around him that his absence will create a void which can never again be filled. This is the second time these afflicted ones have been called upon to mourn the death of a babe and they are again childless. The funeral took place at the residnece, corner 13th and Hill streets, yesterday afternoon at four o'clock.

The funeral of the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Adams this afternoon was largely attended. The parents and grandparents have the sympathy of the entire community.

Mr. and Mrs Guy Adams suffered an irreparable loss in the death of their little son and only child, Sunday night. He was a bright, lovely child, thirteen months old, and only those who have suffered in like manner know how to sympathize with the afflicted parents.

An Affliced Boulder Family. - Boulder, Colo., April 9-Special-The only child of Guy Adams, the attorney, and wife died last night of membraneous crop. He was thirteen months old. This is the second time the family has been rendered childless. The parents are frantic with grief.

C. C. Strawn of Lincoln, Kansas, father of Mrs. Guy Adams, arrived in the city this morning to attend the funeral services of his little grandson..

Resolutions of Sympathy. Whereas, it has pleased the Great Commander of the Universe to call to the Angelic choir to keep his little sister company, the dear baby boy, Charlie, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy A. Adams, thereby bringing sorrow to their hearts, therefore Resolved, that the corps extend its sincere sympanthy to the bereaved parents and grandparents, and trust they will look for true consolation to Him "who doeth all things well." Lucy S. Norton, Katharine A. Farnsworth, Kate O'Brien.

Our sincerest thanks are extended to those who so kindly assisted us during the late illness and funeral of our child and grand child Charley Adams. This kindness will ever be to us the one bright spot in the dark days of our bereavement. Respectfully, Guy A. Adams & wife, George S. Adams & wife.

Card of Thanks. Our many friends need no assurance from us that their kindness during the illness and after the death of our little child is deeply remembered. We can never forget these touching reminders that our loss evoked the sympathy of others and that friends stood ready to render endurable a blow most keenly felt. Let this feeble expression of thanks be a token to those friends that their kindly consideration shall never be forgotten. Mr. and Mrs. Guy S. Adams. Mr. and Mrs. George S. Adams.

Sleep on in thy beauty, Thou sweet angel child. By sorrow unblightedBy sin undected. Like the dove in the ark Thou hast flown to thy rest. From the wild sea of strife, To the home of the blest.

The little crib is empty now, The little clothes laid by, A mother's hope, a father's joy, In death's cold arm doth lie. Go little pilgrim to thy home, On yonder blissful shore: We miss thee here, but soon will come Where thou hast gone before.

No. 8 - When we see the precious blossom, That we tended with such care, Rudely taken from our bosom, How our hearts almost despair! Round its little grave we linger, Till the setting sun is low, Feeling all our hopes are perished, With the flower we cherished so.

Two little angels now on high, They hand in hand together roam; Two links now bind us to the sky. Two fingers beck'ning us to come. Lord give us strength our loss to bear, And lead us in the heavenly way; Oh! may we meet our children there, In realms of everlasting day.
