He immigrated to the United States on Oct. 28, 1940 from Glasgow, Scotland. He arrived to New York, New York, on the Ship "SS Cameronia." In 1943 Eric was about 22 years old, residing in Bloomington, Indiana. On April 20, 1943 he enlisted in the U.S. Army. And, in Aug. 9, 1943 he petitioned for Naturalization in South Carolina. Eric was married to Lois. She was residing at their home in Englewood, New Jersey. Eric died on May 29, 1960 aboard the Israeli S.S. Theodor Herzl. Cause of his death: infarctum myocardi. Statement by Dr. Benno Berger, Ship's Surgeon. Eric was thirty-nine when he passed.
